We, the Blake Family would like to extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who has made a contribution to this Tribute site, whether through stories, lighting candles, sharing thoughts or donating to the two charities, as of late August 2021, we have raised over £307 towards these charities and we know that Lydia would have appreciated that. We held an amazing Celebration of Life service on the 12th August for mama, our gratitude is extended to those who attended or participated on the virtual link. The Youtube link and Programme both remain available on the links below for anyone who has not seen them as yet.

This site is a loving tribute to Lydia Blake. She will always be fondly remembered as the rock upon which our family was founded, selfless, devoted and strong despite the circumstances, with an unwavering faith. Lydia passed on 29th June, 2021, after battling with a number of illnesses over recent years, despite her ailments she remained resolute throughout.

We invite you, her family, church brethren, friends and associates to leave Tributes to Lydia, remembering her in words, pictures and videos, celebrating the life that she led and showing the lives that she touched in so many ways. Lydia showed us what it means to be selfless, putting others above herself, even in her darkest days her light still shone, and that is how she would want us to remember her.
